1. Air Break Course
- 2 Days + Practical Exam +

This is a twelve hour 2 day
course taught in accordance
with the requirements
established by the Ministry
of Transportation. It is
offered through Ontario
Safety League.

Within the twelve hours the
student will learn all of
the content required to
receive the airbrake
endorsement certificate at
the end will be tested and
receive their Z endorsement.

2. Commercial Driver
Improvement - 4 Hours +
Written Exam
A 4 hour in-class course where defensive
driving techniques are
presented.

Includes:
Rules and regulations that
apply to commercial motor
vehicle operation.
The human elements that
affect our ability to drive
safely (ex: attitude, mental
state, complacency,
nutrition, physical
wellbeing, sleep, vision,
knowledge, etc...).
The Vehicle: inspection,
base control, factors that
affect steering, stooping
and handling.
The Environment: inside the
vehicle, road surface
conditions, traffic and
weather conditions.
Driving Defensively:
accident prevention, use of
mirrors, signs and signals,
passing, intersections,
turning and reversing.

3. Border Crossing,
Trip Planning - 4 Hours +
Written Exam
The students will learn:
entry into the U.S. and
Canada, document
requirements, driver
requirements including fast
pass and broker procedures,
using mapping to the fullest
advantage and how to map the
best possible route.

4. Log Books,
Work Hours - 4 Hours +
Written Exam
During this 4 hour in-class
course the student will
learn and understand the
legal requirements for hours
of work and the documents
required out on the
road. The student will learn
to fill log books correctly
and learn how to fill in the
recap section.

5. Transportation
of Dangerous Goods - 4 Hours
+ Written Exam
This is a 4 hour course
covering the aspects of
transporting dangerous
goods. Topics covered:
review of legislative,
requirements,
responsibilities, classes of
dangerous goods, labels and
place cards, documentation
requirements and emergency
response.
